A & R Home Builders is a family owned and operated state certified Residential Contractor. We specialize in building custom homes in South Gulf Cove, Placida, Rotonda, and North Port, Florida. When we started A & R Home Builders we had a goal of providing an exceptional custom home building experience that was unparalleled.
Our mission is to give our clients the ultimate home building experience and input into their home while at the same time providing exceptional affordable luxury. Our commitment to our clients, our communication, and our superior quality is what sets us apart from other builders.

Jerry, Owner & Residential Contractor

Jerry has been in construction for 28 years beginning as a carpenter's assistant right after high school. Jerry spent his college summers on the job site. He graduated from Florida State University in 1997 with a degree in Education.
Jerry's learned every trade over the years and that combined with his attention to detail is what sets A & R Homes apart from all other builders. He is committed to providing excellent one on one customer satisfaction for his clients that you will be hard pressed to find from another builder.
When Jerry is not putting his all into building homes he enjoys his free time with family, boating, and basketball.
Christine, Owner, Business Coordinator, & Design Specialist
Christine has been teammates with Jerry since their first date 28 years ago. She graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University in 1997 with a degree in Communication. She is on top of every detail and is always available with a smile on her face. Christine is always willing to jump in anywhere needed and provides a great eye for design, color selection, and decoration.
Joe, Construction Supervisor/Consultant & General Contractor
Joe has lived in Florida for the last 5 decades and relocated to the Gulf coast 7 years ago to be closer to his family and join the business.
Joe has over 46 years of experience as a custom home builder and working with national home building companies. He has seen and done it all and is always willing to step in with great advice and wisdom. Joe provides that extra set of eyes to build every home exactly to our customers' desires.
In his spare time Joe and his wife, Sandy of 48 years, enjoy spending time with their 5 grandchildren and teaching a weekly bible study.
